What is Payment Accounts in StoreMate?
Payment accounts in StoreMate function like traditional bank accounts, allowing you to manage funds by transferring money between accounts, depositing cash, paying suppliers, and recording customer payments.
Enabling Payment Accounts
- Navigate to Settings -> Business Settings -> Modules.
- Enable the Accounts option under payment settings.
- Save your settings.
- Once saved, the “Payment accounts” option will appear in the left navigation bar.
Payment Account Type & Sub-Type
Manage different account types and sub-types for more organized fund tracking.
- Go to Payment accounts -> List accounts -> Account Types.
- Account Type: Click the Add button, enter the account type name, and submit. Leave the Parent account type unselected.
- Sub-Account Type: To add a sub-account type, click Add, enter the sub-account name, and select the parent account type.
- When creating an account, select the account type as per your needs.
