How to Make Sales Using POS Screen
- Go to POS Screen:
- Navigate to Sell → POS.
- Click on the POS Shortcut in the Header.
- Select Cash in Hand balance and your business location if multiple locations are available.


Selecting Customer
By default, “Walk-In Customer” is selected. Search for a customer by name, customer ID, or phone number. To add a new customer, click the plus (+) button labeled “Add Customer”.
Searching & Adding Product
Enter the product name or scan the barcode. If multiple products match, a dropdown of options will appear. Otherwise, the product will be added directly to the cart.

Changing Product Price, Tax & Discount
Click on the product name to adjust the price, tax, and discounts. Note: Inline tax is visible only if enabled in Business Settings → Tax → Enable Inline Tax.
Selecting Lot Number & Expiry
Enable lot numbers and expiry dates in Settings → Product. When enabled, options for lot number and expiry date will appear.
Finalizing POS Invoice
Click “Finalize”, choose payment options, and save. A printing option will appear. Ensure invoice margins are set to “Default” for correct printing. View sales in Sell → List Sales or drafts in Sell → Drafts.

Express Checkout
In Express Checkout, sales are marked as Paid with “Cash” as the payment method, skipping the payment screen. Invoice printing depends on business location settings.
Cancel Sales
Click “Cancel” to discard sales. Cancelled invoices are not saved, so stock remains unaffected.
100% Credit Sales
Enable the Credit Sale button in Settings → Business Settings → POS. On the POS screen, click “Credit Sale” to process a credit transaction.

Half Credit & Half Payment Sales
To split payments (e.g., partial cash and partial credit), use “Multiple Pay” and enter the amount paid. Remaining balance is credited to the customer’s account.

Draft & Quotation
Create quotations or drafts without deducting stock. View these in “List Quotation” or “List Draft” and finalize if needed.
Suspended Sales
Hold sales using Suspended Sales. Deducts stock temporarily. Use the yellow button at the top right of the screen to view all suspended sales.
Card / Multiple Pay / Cash
Choose among multiple payment methods based on customer preferences. “Multiple Pay” can handle split payments and change calculations.
Adding Payments from Contact
Go to Contact → Suppliers. Select “Pay Due amount” if there’s a balance to settle.
Rounding Mechanism
Adjust rounding settings in Business Settings → POS. Enable rounding for cash payments and ensure proper rounding values in invoices.
