Commission Agent is useful for many businesses. Businesses pay sales agents/commission agents a commission on every sale they bring.
How to Enable Commission Agent Option
By default, the Commission Agent feature is disabled. You can enable it by going to Settings > Business Settings > Sales and selecting the Sales Commission Agent option from the drop-down.

Commission Agent Types
There are three types of Commission Agents you can choose from:
- Logged in User: The logged-in user is automatically considered the commission agent for the sales they add, meaning they receive the commission for those sales.
- Select from User’s List: When this option is enabled, you will see a list of users on the POS & Sales Screen. The user adding the sale selects the commission agent from the user list.
- Select from Commission Agent List: With this option enabled, a list of “Sales Commission Agents” will appear on the POS & Sales Screen, allowing the user adding the sale to choose from available agents.

Adding Commission Percentage
You can add a commission percentage in two ways:
- While adding or editing a User (Path: User Management > Users > Edit).
- While adding or editing a Sales Commission Agent.


Note: You can view the commission agent report under the Reports category.
