Role Management

You can create custom roles with granular permissions. Admins can control what users do in OMS by assigning specific permissions to each role.

Steps to Add a Role

  • Go to Roles > Add Role
  • Enter Name: Give the role a name (e.g., “Sales Rep”).
  • Click: Save & Add Permission
  • Assign Permissions: Select permissions (Add, View, Edit, etc.) for each module as needed.
    • You can use “Select All” within a module to grant all permissions for that module.
  • Save: Click Save to finalize permissions.
  • Verify: Check that the new role appears in the role list.

Notes:

  • Roles can be edited except for the Admin role, which cannot be modified.
  • Permissions determine what buttons and pages users see in the system.
  • Use tooltips to understand each permission.
