Custom Waybill Layout
We’re excited to announce the release of Version 1.1.0 for StoreMate OMS, introducing powerful new features for managing your Waybill.
This module empowers users to configure and manage Waybill for their business operations. The system now supports:
- Default layouts: Ready-to-use templates.
- Custom layout additions: Create and tailor your own designs.
How to Add New Layout
Add a New Custom Layout:
Settings → Layout Settings → Add New Layout
Add Layout
When adding a new layout, you will be prompted for:
- Layout Name (Text, Mandatory): A unique name to identify your layout.
- Layout Type (Dropdown: Waybill / Invoice, Mandatory): Select the document type.
Actions:
- Continue: Saves the new layout and redirects to the layout page.
- Cancel: Discards changes and does not save the layout.
Saved Layouts View:
Your saved layouts will be displayed in a table with: Updated at, Layout Name, Layout Category (Invoice/Waybill), and Action (Edit/Deactivate).
- Deactivate: Layouts can only be deactivated if they are not assigned to any active locations. Default layouts cannot be deactivated.
Edit/Deactivate Layout
- Edit: Allows you to modify the layout’s name and content.
- Deactivate: Provides the ability to deactivate custom layouts (if not in use).
System Behavior
| Scenario | Expected Behavior |
| No default layout set | The system’s Default Layout is automatically applied. |
| Layout is deactivated | The deactivated layout will not be shown in selection or printing options.** |
| Layout used for reprint | The currently default layout for that location will be used for reprints. |
Waybill Components
- Layout Size: A3, A4, A5, A6, or Custom (set height & width).
- Business Details: Business Location Name, Business Name, Location Address & City, Contact Number.
- Customer Details: Customer Name, Address, City, Contact Number 1, Contact Number 2, Custom Field 2.
- Order Details: Sale Order Number, Waybill Barcode, Order Date, Order Total, Paid Amount, COD Amount, Order Description, Delivery Charge, Custom Field.
- Product Details: SKU, Product Name, Quantity, Total Items in count, Total Qty in count, Product Price.
- Additional Details: Image upload.
Where the Layout Prints Apply
Waybill Layout:
- Packing List: Individual Prints & Bulk Print (only for waybill available orders).
- Sync History: Based on JOB ID.
- Sync Waybill Details.
